-------------------------------------------------------- It took me a long time to grow into myself. To stitch the gap between how I feel and how I’m seen. My body has been reshaped. My voice re-learned. My way of loving, redefined. Still, I’m soft. Still, I love. This piece is for that becoming — not the before, not the after, but the in-between where I found myself. -------------------------------------------------------------- This piece gently honours transgender and gender-diverse individuals — those who weren’t “born wrong”, but born different. Not everyone’s path to self is linear. And not every body tells the full story. If someone trusts you enough to show you who they really are — hold that truth like something sacred. It probably wasn’t easy to say.
